| I specialize in Uruguayan music, mainly Candombe, Psychedelic and Rock from the Sixties and the Seventies (check the Uruguayan section when you browse by category). Uruguayan records are usually considered to be rare for many reasons, specially for coming from such a little and sometimes unknown country with less than 3.500.000 inhabitants, in which a record becomes gold with just 3.000 sold units and platinum with only 6.000! Other important and interesting reasons are: for having created many different artwork covers and having committed very big misspellings on foreign artists releases such as artists names and track titles names. All South American 7" vinyls come with a generic cover/sleeve unless noted. My grading for records is conservative considering that South American - and specially Uruguayan- vinyl pressings from the sixties & seventies are fair and inferior than North American, Australian or European vinyl pressings. Grading is visual but I don't mind to listen to the record if you ask me to do so. If you think that my text description of a cover/vinyl grade is not clear or if it's not detail oriented enough, please reach me by e-mail. I'll be happy to answer your questions and provide pictures of covers and labels if you require it. For any extra information (request of pictures of covers, labels and/or vinyls, inquiries regarding Uruguayan or South American titles that you are looking for), please don't hesitate to contact me at arripitipi@hotmail.com Thanks for visiting! |
